David Jenkins Mercantile was one of Logan’s first businesses in the 1860’s. His grandson Charles Jenkins continued on the tradition by working at what become Logan Hardware/Bennett’s Paint and Glass. His son Lowell Jenkins later took over for his father Charles. Bennett’s Glass is currently owned and operated by Lowell’s son and David Jenkins Great-Great Grandson Ron Jenkins.
